Dr. Bram Mason
Dr Bram Mason has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer to the Dahl Trust.
Bram comes to the Trust with broad experiences in the natural environment field from a very diverse work background. His latest appointment was within the Department of Environment, Land, Water, and Planning in the areas threatened species, wildlife, and terrestrial biodiversity and most recently regional service delivery.
Prior to working in State Government, Bram held senior technical and managerial roles within environmental consulting. He has consulted on projects such as the emergency watering of River Red Gums along the Murray River, monitoring condition of vegetation along the Wimmera River, monitoring of ecological impacts associated with the Port Phillip Bay Channel Deepening Project. Prior to consulting Bram worked in local government assessing planning permit applications and advising on stormwater treatment systems.
Community education has also been a focus when Bram was a WaterWatch Coordinator and while teaching natural resource management at Victoria University and TAFE. Bram has completed a Ph.D. in native ecosystem repair, an MSc in Environmental Management, an Honours degree looking at stormwater treatment systems and BSc in Environmental Management.
